Frequently Asked Questions

What typically happens during a reading?

I start the reading off with small talk. How are you today? etc. This allows us both to drop our guards and allows us to communicate better. After that I start the reading.
During a tarot reading I will ask you what you would like to find out from today's reading. When we are ready, I will start drawing cards. I normally do not do a particular spread. I just draw cards and listen to what my intuition is saying. I am an intuitive reader so I have no idea what any of the Tarot cards actually mean.
During a Throwing Bones reading, I will throw the Bones and we will discuss what each item represents and what I see going on in your life.
In a Crystal Reading, I will ask you to draw 5-10 crystals and I will do the reading based off the crystals you have chosen.
If I am feeling drawn to include another divination style into the reading, I will let you know. I listen to my intuition and if my intuition tells me I need another type of divination to get the point across we are going to listen. I may also channel your guides, ancestors, or family members who are no longer walking the earth.
My goal with each reading is to have you leave with answers you were seeking and hope for the future.

What questions should I ask?

It is best to show up to a reading open to receive. You should ask open ended questions. "What do I need to know right now?" "What is making me feel stuck?" "What should I do to help me connect with my spirit guides?" etc.
I always tell my clients that you can ask whatever questions you like, but the Tarot(crystals, bones, etc) doesn't have to answer. If Source wants to talk to you about listening to your guides or ancestors, then that is what will come up no matter how many times we ask finance questions. I always set my intentions and make sure my ego is in check so that you receive the message you are meant to receive. What ever you are meant to hear in the reading will come out. I am just the vessel that Source chooses to relay the message.

Can you predict the future?

No. There is a lot in play in a reading. Free will is the biggest game changer for the future. For a silly example: if I tell you in a reading that you are indulging in ice cream too often and that it is going to have a dangerous outcome. You have free will. You could go home and cut out all ice cream from your diet or you could go home and indulge even more in ice cream. You have the power to decide what will happen.
Another reason I say that I don't predict the future is because in my opinion readings are meant to be used as a guide. You should listen to my readings. Take what resonates. Think about it and then allow for your intuition and guides to take over.
